Maintenance Reliability Manager

Your technical skills will be crucial in ensuring our plants, utility systems, buildings, and equipment are operational. You will be responsible for taking preventive and corrective actions, setting priorities, forecasting, and allocating resources for maintenance tasks. **What You Will Achieve**
In this role, you will:
+ The Reliability Maintenance Manager is expected to function in a hybrid role where you utilize subject matter expertise to support the maintenance reliability activities in addition to leading a team of Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
+ Develop strategies and methods to improve preventive maintenance processes and procedures, enhancing equipment performance. This includes but is not limited to networking with key Pfizer Reliability SMEs at the global engineering level or at other sites as well as industry to adopt and implement best practices.
+ Lead and manage people, technology, and financial resources within the department.
+ Actively share knowledge and identify potential improvements in processes or products, taking risks to develop innovative ideas.
+ Solve moderately complex problems within your expertise and assist with issues outside the department.
+ Recognize development needs in others, collaborate to create development plans, and manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, coaching, and ongoing assessment.
+ Solicit input, explain complex concepts, and persuade others to adopt a point of view while effectively sharing your own perspective and rationale.
+ Provide technical engineering oversight for project execution plans and engineering studies for equipment component installation.
+ Support programs and systems with procedures and training, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements, including SOPs, cGMP, safety, quality, OSHA, and other standards.
+ Facilitate equipment-based Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations, govern maintenance planning and scheduling, foster teamwork, encourage colleague development, and provide salary planning and change management recommendations.
+ Perform equipment evaluations to determine and justify new equipment, equipment replacement, and incorporate into the capital plan.
+ Provide technical input and assist with coordination and escorting of outside vendors and contractors.
+ Collaborate within the Engineering organization and with peer organizations such as Quality and Operations, and EH&S, to ensure compliance and production remains on schedule.
+ Ensure adequate communication with key stakeholder groups.
**Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)**
+ BA/BS with at least 4 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 2 years of experience or PhD/JD with any years of experience or associate's degree with at least 8 years of experience or high School Diploma (or Equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
+ Proficiency in Enterprise Asset Management Solutions or other CMMS applications.
+ Thorough knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and current pharmaceutical industry standards.
+ Strong people management experience.
+ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
**Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):**
+ Master's degree with relevant pharmaceutical experience.
+ Industry experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
+ Experience in equipment-based Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations.
+ Ability to develop and establish strategies and methods that improve preventive maintenance processes and procedures.
+ Experience in providing technical engineering oversight to develop project execution plans and associated engineering studies for equipment component installation.
+ Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**
+ Ability to stand upright for several consecutive hours.
+ Able to stand and frequently walk between production centers/areas to supervise operations.
+ Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, carrying and/or lifting up to 25 pounds
+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust and focus.
+ This position works around moving machines, is exposed to temperature changes and is required to wear personal protective equipment in certain areas.
+ Additional requirements are line and product specific.
**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**
The work environment ranges from office, to plant, to Maintenance shop.
• Colleague is frequently exposed to airborne particles and must work near moving mechanical parts.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Use of hearing, eye, hand and foot protection is required.
• Personal Protective Equipment applicable to the task and must be worn at all times. May be a condition of employment.
• Occasional travel between site/facilities locations may be required.
• Work outside of normal hours may be required on an infrequent basis to support planned shutdowns or significant production interruptions.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $116,000.00 to $193,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
