We strive to create a positive and fun atmosphere where our team members feel valued and are enthusiastic about the contributions they make to the success of Leslie&rsquo;s.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong>Job Overview</strong><strong>:</strong></span></p><p><span style="color: #333333;">As the <strong>Assistant Manager (AM)</strong>, you will support the performance of a Leslie's store to ensure that it meets or exceeds customer service standards, sales plans, profitability, operating procedures, and all merchandising objectives. You will also learn best practices to train and develop your team and set the expectation of providing excellent customer service as you lead by example.</span></p><p><span style="color: #333333;">&nbsp;<strong>Pay: $17.65 - $19.65 / Hourly&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><em><span style="color: #333333;">Compensation within range to be determined by the applicant&rsquo;s education, experience, knowledge and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.</span></em></p><p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="color: #333333;">Collaborate with the General Manager to learn overall expectations and procedures of store operations, sales plans, profit margins, payroll and all controllable expenses. (P&amp;L)</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Conducted water analysis and mechanical repairs</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Ensure that the team is following all safety protocols</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Identifying new talent to join the team</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Maintain a welcoming store environment</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Assist with merchandising and inventory control</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Opening and closing store responsibilities that may include the delivery of daily bank deposit</span></li></ul><p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="color: #333333;">Must be at least 18 years of age</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">High School Diploma or Equivalent, or currently attending High School</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">A valid driver's license with reliable transportation</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">1 year of customer service experience or retail experience </span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Experience managing/leading a team </span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Ability to achieve placement in the succession program.</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computers.</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">The ability to lift 50 lbs.</span></li></ul><p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong>We offer our employees competitive compensation</strong>, extensive paid training, comprehensive and flexible suite of benefits package, 401K with company match, team member discounts, rewards for top performers, and most importantly career advancement opportunities.</span></p><p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong>Leslie&rsquo;s recognizes a critical component to our continued success is our people</strong>.
