Lead Sales Associate (Seasonal)

We strive to create a positive and fun atmosphere where our Team Members feel valued and are enthusiastic about the contributions they make to the success of Leslie's.</p><p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong>Job Overview: </strong></span></p><p><span style="color: #333333;">The Lead Sales Associate will provide superior customer service to our customers and support the General Manager in all facets of retail operations to ensure the store is operating at optimal performance.</span></p><p><strong><span style="color: #333333;">Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 / Hourly </span></strong></p><p><span style="color: #333333;"><em>Compensation within range to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.</em> </span></p><p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="color: #333333;">Greet and assist customers with their pool and spa care needs</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Accurately and timely complete sales transactions using the POS system</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Maintain a welcoming store environment</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Assist with merchandising and inventory control</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Position requires open and closing duties, including bank deposits</span></li></ul><p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong>Qualifications: </strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="color: #333333;">Must be at least 18 years of age</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">High School Diploma or Equivalent, or currently attending High School</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">A valid driver's license with reliable transportation</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">6 months or 1 year of customer service</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Ability to achieve placement in the succession program.</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computers.</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">The ability to lift 50 lbs.</span></li></ul><p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong>Leslie’s recognizes a critical component to our continued success is our people</strong>.
