Systems Administrator/Engineer for Federal Program
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Security+ CE certification (required)
- 3+ years of experience incybersecurity, vulnerability management, or security operations
- Strongadministration experiencewith:
- Tenable Nessus
- Tenable Security Center
- Tenable Agents
- Qualys Platform
- Qualys VMDR
- Qualys CAR
- Qualys Policy Assessment (PA)
- Splunk (SIEM)
- Solid understanding of:
- Vulnerability scanning methodologies and CVSS scoring
- Risk-based vulnerability management
- Operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls)
- SIEM operations, alerting, and dashboard creation
- Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking
- Broad technical background utilizing security technologies, such as Server and Workstation Operating Systems, Network Security.
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation.
- Strong written and verbal skills
